In the weeks leading up to #GWAW, NGWA encourages everyone to become official “groundwater protectors” by taking steps to conserve and protect the resource. Businesses, individuals, educators, students, federal agencies, cities, associations, and everyone in between can ask to be added to NGWA’s groundwater protector list through its website or on social media. Have an awesome story to tell? Great! Send it to NGWA and they might highlight your efforts.

On NGWA’s #GWAW site, groundwater protectors will find a toolkit with downloadable and shareable materials to spread the word. These materials include:

The Little Blue Natural Resources District Board of Directors will meet in regular session on March 18th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.in the Little Blue NRD Office in Davenport. The Projects & Planning Committee will meet prior to the regular meeting at 6:00 and the Water Resources Committee will meet at 6:30.  The agenda for the meetings are kept continually current and are available for public inspection during regular office hours at the Little Blue NRD.  This meeting was originally scheduled and advertised for March 12, 2019; however, because of dangerous weather conditions was rescheduled for March 18, 2019.
