NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING 

REGARING THE JOINTLY DEVELOPED INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT PLANS 

BY TRI-BASIN NATURAL RESOURCES DISTRICT,

LITTLE BLUE NATURAL RESOURCES DISTRICT,

AND THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES 

The Tri-Basin Natural Resources District (TBNRD), the Little Blue Natural Resources District (LBNRD), and the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources (NeDNR) hereby provide notice that a public meeting related to the jointly developed Integrated Management Plans (IMPs) for LBNRD and the Little Blue River Portion of the TBNRD will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the Adams County Fairgrounds, West Conference Room in the Activities Building located at 947 S. Baltimore Ave., Hastings, NE 68901. The public is invited to attend this meeting, and there will be a public comment period towards the end of the meeting.

According to the IMPs, the TBNRD, LBNRD, and NeDNR will annually discuss the progress being made toward achieving the goals and objectives of the IMPs and exchange information on ground water uses and surface water uses. Modifications or amendments to the IMPs may be discussed and considered at the meeting.

Special guest, Dr. Troy Gilmore with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, will discuss his research on the rate of movement of recharge water from the land surface to the aquifer within the Little Blue basin.
