DAVENPORT, Neb.— The Little Blue Natural Resource District recreation areas will open on May 20th for overnight camping.

RV and tent camping will be available at our recreation areas, but the Little Blue NRD encourages our patrons to use social distancing and group-size guidelines to help ensure compliance with the state’s public health directives amid the COVID-19 situation.

Recreation Area Information:
o All recreation areas are first-come, first-serve.
o Lone Star (Tobias, NE) will open the front gate at 9 am on May 20th for overnight camping. There are 18 electrical hookups available.
o Buckley Creek (Reynolds, NE) will open at 10:15 am on May 20th for overnight camping. There are four electrical hookups available.
o Liberty Cove (Lawrence, NE) will open at noon on May 20th for overnight camping. There are seven electrical hookups available.
o We encourage campers to bring their water in RVs and campers to limit the use of contact on hydrants or sanitize them yourself before and after use.
o Use recreation areas at your own risk.
