The Little Blue NRD is having an educational creative story and picture contest this year as our Arbor Day presentations have been cancelled due to COVID-19. We hope the elementary-aged students of our district can still learn about trees and the importance they have to our environment. Below are the contest rules as well as the form students can use to be entered.

1) The contest is open to PreK-8th grade students that live in the Little Blue NRD.
2) Students are to draw a picture and write a short story on the importance of trees to our environment.
3) No submissions will be returned.
4) Winners from each age group will be displayed at the Little Blue NRD office, on the LBNRD website/social media and be showcased in the following Little Blue newsletter, Out of the Blue. *Winners may be asked to provide a photo to appear with their entries.
