Little Blue NRD Seeks Director
The Little Blue Natural Resources District is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a conservation policy maker on its Board of Directors.
Open Position:
Sub-district 7: Located in and around Thayer County, with parts of Fillmore and Nuckolls Counties included, as well. Refer to the map on the Little Blue NRD’s website at www.littlebluenrd.org, or see above.
Eligibility:
- Reside within the boundaries of the respective sub-district.
- Registered voter that has met the minimum age requirement.
- Interest in the management of soil and water resources and the environment is preferred.
The candidate selected will fill the remaining term through December 2028. The deadline to express interest in this vacancy is Friday, August 7th, 2026. Please submit a one page or less letter of interest to Scott Nelson, General Manager of LBNRD by August 7th. Also plan on attending the August board meeting on August 11th at 7 p.m. at the LBNRD office.
